About Us
The Blacksmiths Arms, one of the oldest buildings in Millhouse Green, was built almost 200 years ago and originally incorporated a blacksmith's forge, serving the local farmers using the road between Penistone and Manchester, now known as the A628 Woodhead Road.
Landlady Yvonne took the pub over recently, providing a warm welcome to a traditional pub with cask ales and value for money, quality pub food.
The four newly refurbished, comfortable en-suite bedrooms are available all year round. Special rates are available for longer stays, and frequent business guests.
Conveniently situated close to the Trans Pennine Trail, The Blacksmiths is popular with walkers and cyclists seeking rest and refreshment (dogs are welcome in the bar area).
FREE WI-FI FOR ALL CUSTOMERS.
